Collaborative Mini-Zine Hangout | Tue. July 1 | 6:30 to 8:30 PM

$10.00

A group session that focuses on the collaborative nature of zine making! We will learn how to make a mini-zine using a single piece of paper. We’ll collaboratively and collectively produce a set of zines using accessible materials, like paper, markers, and glue. Gaining inspiration from each other, as well as from a mini zine library, we will explore zine making together!

A sliding scale or free tuition is available for this session. Please email jcprintroom@gmail.com for more info.

Facilitator & Instructor: Karen Hu

A zine is a small, self-published work, often in the form of a booklet or pamphlet, that is typically created in limited quantities and distributed independently. Zines are often characterized by their DIY (do-it-yourself) approach, personal or alternative perspectives, and focus on specialized or niche topics. They can be a way for individuals or small groups to express themselves creatively and share their unique viewpoints.
