Come and join us for an afternoon for carving and printmaking! Inspired by nature motifs throughout art history, from the ecentric marginalia of medieval art to the swirling hatais and flowers of Turkish art. Students will carve rubber blocks to create stamps (2x2” and 2x4”) to be transferred to paper or textiles with oil based ink, to create repeating prints. No prior experience required, so come and learn a new skill or hone the ones you got! All supplies provided.
